First Day of "Real" School
My first day at the University was definetley something to remember. It took Crystal and I 40 minutes to get to school, it's only 5 blocks away. Traffic was HORRIBLE. Needless to say, we were a half an hour late to our first class- which we have together. When we got to our classroom there was a sign on the door that told us to go to a different classroom, in a different building. So at 9:35am we walked into an empty classroom and were told that our class was huge and we would probably have to stand. We grabbed our syllabus and left. I just started laughing. When I walked to my next class there was a sign on the door that said "cancelled- teacher ill". So I walked home. 2 classes down 3 to go... After lunch I went back to school. Wanna know the rest, call me!

More Details
Ok, so I'm here in Sac, if you haven't noticed then you're not my friend. It has been an adventure thus far. When I got here 2 and a half weeks ago I was weirded out. I was excited but scared about being here by myself and sad about moving- you know, all that stuff. On my second day here I hooked up with one of my friends from Hume and he took me to a Bible study. It was way cool! A guy named Ric asked me if I liked to play volleyball. I said yes and he asked if I wanted to play at this gym the next night. I was so excited!! That Friday I played volleyball with Ric and his friend Lindsey (and a bunch of other people that were at the gym). The day after that I played soccer with them and some other college kids and then hung out with them for the rest of the day. The day after that- Crystal came!
That week, Crystal and I started putting together our place. You guys have to come, it looks so cute! It was such a blessing just to be able to hang out all of the time and cook all of our meals. I started looking for a job that week too. I got interviewed at Applebee's and the guy pretty much told me I had a job. It was a lie though- becuase I don't have one as of yet. :o)
Jamie came on Wednesday, it's a weird adjustment. Crystal and I have been getting used to doing everything together and Jamie is really independent so she kind of does her own thing. It's cool but the bond isn't really developing. On the DL.
I just got home from Ric's B-Day party. It was good times. We ate some food, played Scene It and Guesstures and just hung out. I start school on Tuesday- pretty exciting! I can't wait!
I hope all of you are doing fabulous. I miss you guys, and hope to see you soon. Keep me in your prayers, especially for the job thing. Call me whenever- but if you don't have verizon, wait for the weekend or after 9pm. :o) In the words of Kip from Napoleon Dynamite,"Peace Out."

Sac Towne
So, I'm here, in Sacramento. Good times. I feel like a bum cause I don't have a job and school hasn't started yet. It's been nice though. I am eating my favorite pretzels from Trader Joe's right now (compliments of Mother Hen). I bought some books today- that was exciting because 2 of my teachers haven't told the bookstore what books they want us to buy. So I just bought for English and Recreation Studies a whole $114 worth. Crystal and I are taking an Archeology class together, I am way excited. So, you guys have to come visit! I'll update more later. I miss all of you!

Another Year...
Another year has passed, another year is ahead. How about that. Now all of the mistakes or regrets you had in 2004 can easily be reconciled in 2005. Isn't that nice? I just think it's funny that just because the calendar changes, all of the sudden our lives have to too. Everybody gets into the "resolution spirit" and January 1st is suddenly that push they needed to stop or start doing something. Why, why is the New Year such a huge deal? It's like instead of living for each day, we're living year by year. Don't get me wrong, I have been known to get caught up in all of the "changing". In fact, my slogan for this year is "New year, new life"- symbolizing all of the changes that are taking place in my life this year. I just needed something to write about I guess. The times they are a' changing so get on the bandwagon and make your resolutions kids. :o)
That said, Happy New Year!!!!!
